Inter opens its 2025 Club World Cup with a draw that leaves mixed feelings: 1-1 against Monterrey, under the burning sun of Pasadena. A complicated and immediately uphill start: Sergio Ramos reaches a corner in the 25th minute. But the Nerazzurri vibrate and do not respond as a team. Carlos, on a free kick by Asllani, finds Lautaro who scores the 1-1 just before half-time.
In the second half, Inter took control: Canales first hit the mail, then a flurry of opportunities for Barella, Lautaro and Zalewski. Sucic and Luis Henrique, who made his debut.
