Monza 1-2 Juventus: McKennie and Gonzalez get Bianconeri back to winning ways

Juventus returned to glory in Serie A after a 2-1 win over Monza at the U-Power Stadium.

Weston McKennie and Nicolas Gonzalez were on target for Thiago Motta's side, who ended a run of four consecutive league matches.

The Bianconeri broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when an unmarked McKennie struck home from Teun Koopmeiners' corner.

Monza replied eight minutes later, when Andrea Carboni's inviting cross was turned in by Samuele Birindelli.

However, Juventus regained the lead six minutes before half-time, with Gonzalez finishing after the hosts failed to deal with a cross.

Monza looked to launch a late rally, but Juve held on for all three points.
