Tottenham recorded just two wins in their last ten games as Wolves struck late to earn a 2-2 draw in front of a disgruntled home crowd.
Spurs looked to be in control of the match as goals from Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson gave them a 2-1 lead after Hee-Chan Hwang's opener.
However, despite losing key man Matheus Cunha to injury at half-time, Wolves found a late leveler through Jorgen Strand Larsen, meaning they had taken seven points from Vítor Pereira's first three games in charge.
The draw means Spurs, who also missed a penalty through Heung-Min Son at 1-1 and were booed at full-time, have failed to win in their last five home games and leave them in 11th place in the Premier League standing with just 24 points from 19 games.
It also puts boss Ange Postecoglou under great pressure.
In a torrid December, with poor results and a growing injury list, Spurs had slipped down the table but looked on course to end 2024 with a win after a strong finish to the first half.
However, Postecoglou's depleted side could not add or hold on to a third, and their injury curse struck again as Destiny Udogie limped off in the second half with a hamstring injury.
