Jose Mourinho expects to stay with Fenerbahce next season, despite the pressure assembly after the recent versions of the club.
Mourinho signed a two -year contract with the Turkish Super Lig Giants in 2024, but could not lead them to the competition title during his first season, despite winning 34 of his 55 games in all competitions (61.82%).
Fenerbahce, who closes their campaign at home on Konyaspor on Saturday, will finish second behind Champions Galatasaray.
The yellow canaries are 11 points on drift of their rivals and the dissatisfaction has grown among supporters after the team's displays in recent weeks.
'If you ask me if I will be here next season, I refer to the last [Fenerbahce] The president's appearance on TV a few weeks ago, where the president said he wants me to stay, and he is counting on me to stay the next season, “said Mourinho.
“That is public. That's it. I think he was clear. If something changes from that day, I was not told. I can confirm that these words were exactly the same words that I was told when we met. So that for me a very clear situation is.
“The disappointment with regard to the latter versions. It is painful for everyone.
“It is only people who don't understand how people are, what the end of the season is. The motivation is not the same, but I do not accept that people think that players cannot care.”

The second place means that Fenerbahce has to come through two qualifying rounds to book their place in the right Champions League of next season.
The side of Mourinho was defeated by Lille in the third qualifying round this season, and the two-time winner of the Champions League hopes to place his side in the best possible form to return to Europe's Premier Club competition.
“We tried to qualify for the Champions League with Fenerbahce last summer,” he added. “We lost that possibility with a Lille penalty in the 120th minute.
“You ask me if I prefer to play in the Champions League instead of the Europa League, Conference League. Yes, but not only me, every club, every coach, every player.
“Next summer we have qualification for the Champions League again. We have to prepare ourselves as well as possible.”
