Jose Mourinho has taken to social media to reassure fans that his health is not a serious concern.
Fans had raised concerns about Mourinho after a worrying health update.
It was reported that the Fenerbahce boss had to undergo surgery abroad due to a health problem.
However, Mournho has insisted his followers have nothing to worry about.
He took to Instagram with a video message saying, “I wish everyone a happy holiday season. May this time be full of love and happiness for you and your family.
“For those of you who have been concerned, I can confirm that reports of my surgery have been greatly exaggerated; it is just a quick and minor procedure.
'As always, I will resume training on the first day back from the holidays. I have never missed a session in 25 years, and I don't plan to start now.
Mourinho was in the dugout on Friday as Fenerbahce drew 1-1 against Eyupspor in the league and delivered a scathing assessment of his side's performance and the quality of the match.
Fenerbahce will not return to action until January 5, when Hatayspor hosts.
Turkish sports journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu wrote on X last week: 'Jose Mourinho will leave Istanbul today (December 21) to undergo surgery abroad due to a health problem he is experiencing.'
With Mourinho being one of the biggest names in the game, there was naturally an outpouring of support for the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss online.
