
Arsenal -fans did not stop in their assessment of their improvised front three after Leandro Trossard missed a golden chance against Leicester.
Trossard, besides Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling, had him in the spotlight when Arsenal tried to create opportunities with a paved attack in view of their injury crisis.
But those spotlights became even bigger when Trossard got the ball on a plate from a great lofted pass from Martin Odegaard, only to pick the chance with a tame effort directly to the Leicester -goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
The Miss Left Arsenal fans who rumble online with the Gunners who chase perfection to maintain in any form of title race.
A fan wrote: “Odegaard Flicks a ball over the top and Trossard moves as if he never kicked a ball into his life.”
While another added: “If you see that Trossard again, it is actually shocking”.
A third rumbled: “Trossard and Sterling not good enough for Arsenal. They are in a panic!”
And a fourth angry posted: “If we don't see Sterling or Trossard under water in the second half, it is better not to view the game”.
Trossard was asked to work as a center-forward in the first 45 minutes, with Sterling Left Wing and the 17-year-old Nwaneri played on the right flank.
Arsenal was blown this season and this week it went from bad to worse.
After he had chosen to add attacking depth to the team in the transfer star of January, Mikel Arteta lost the rest of the season starting striker Kai Havertz with a torn hamstring during a training camp for warm weather in Dubai earlier this week.
Havertz joins Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli in the treatment room with Arsenal's Fit Attacking Options Limited.
Fortunately for Arteta there was good news this weekend in terms of injuries.
Right back Ben White returned to the team for the first time since November after the operation on his knee.
