MU ‘make contact with entourage’ of former Bayern star over potential switch

Manchester United has reportedly contacted the entourage of a former star Bayern Munich about a possible move to Old Trafford.

The player in question is currently in Lyon after he left the Bundesliga champions in 2022 to return to his youth side.

According to the French outlet l'Equipe, the Red Devils are investigating a movement for midfielder Corentin Tolissso.

The publication added that Tolisso, 30, it is not said that it is 'insensitive' in the idea of switching to the Premier League.

However, Lyon does not intend to sell Tolisso because they are planning to make him the support point of Paolo Fonseca.

What can make things more complicated is that Les Gones Areaady club legend Alexandre Lacazette has allowed to leave the club.

But they could still allow Tolisso to leave the club, given the state of their finances that they could have seen playing in Ligue 2 next season.

Last week Lyon announced that they had won their profession against their relegation of Ligue 1.

If the decision had been, this would have led to FA Cup winners Crystal Palace in the Europa League of next season.

However, it now means that the South London side will be 'banished' to the third levels competition thanks to the UEFA rules for Multi-Club ownership.

As Mail Sport revealed, Palace officials started to the UEFA head office last month to advocate their business.

Competition rules mean that, in cases where one person has control over several clubs that are eligible for the same European tournament, the person who ended higher in the domestic competition takes the lock.

The failure to take action to separate Textor from the club before the UEFA deadline brought them to an administrative nightmare on 1 March.

There had been hope for Palace after Lyon was banned after breaking the financial rules in France.

However, their successful attraction will cause destruction in Selhurst Park.
