Ruben Amorim is frustrated by slow progress in transfer agreements at Manchester United after just one signing – Matheus Cunha van Wolves – who arrives through the door in Old Trafford,
Manchester United has one that signs through the door this summer, but they have no plans to stop there while Ruben Amorim continues to renew his struggling team.
So far, Matheus Cunha is the only player who arrived at Old Trafford after he has been signed for £ 62.5 million and there are some frustrations of fans about the lack of progress compared to other deals.
United is still locked up in conversations with Brentford about a possible relocation for Bryan Mbeumo, but have not been able to agree.
There are also a number of unwanted stars such as Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho whose futures should be completed if the club wants to balance the books and help more funds for transfers.
With that in mind, Mirror Football has outlined some of the largest transfer stories and gossip from Manchester United.
Barcelona Make Rashford “Priority” target
Marcus Rashford will be desperate to make his exit from United this summer after he has become aside by Amorim, forced to only train the team in Carrington.
United gave Rashford extra time to find a new club after his short loan spell in Aston Villa last season – and now the English star may have found a solution.
According to Sky in Germany, Barcelona had seen an offer for Liverpool wing player Luis Diaz and is now willing to go “all-in” on Rashford.
The report says that Boss Hansi Flick has already given the green light to the move, of which Barcelona Hope will be a loan agreement.
United may also have to subsidize part of the wages of Rashford because of the eye-watery £ 325,000 a weekly wage of the player and he would be willing to lower his wage requirements to secure an exit.
Gyokeres reconsider United Move
For months, Manchester United was spoken as the leading leaders to sign Viktor Gyokeres because of the relationship of rush hour with Baas Amorim.
The Portuguese coach helped to convert the Swedish star into one of the deadliest strikers in world football, but the failure of United to qualify for European football saw them fall away from the battle – in which Arsenal acted as favorites.
It is understood that Arsenal offers a package of € 65 million (£ 56 million) plus future payments of € 5 million and € 10 million (£ 8.6 million) in add-ons, but about £ 4 million on the rating of Sporting.
Sporting has asked for a “cooling -off period” before the restart and Gyokeres has reportedly had enough patient and is in strike in the club – refusing to appear before the start of the preseason.
And now the Portuguese Outlet Correio da Manha claimed that Gyokeres has opened the door to United again and gives the Red Devils a “second look” after he is forced to wait to become a member of Arsenal.
In addition to Cunha, United wants to add another forward player and would make the chance to sign Gyokeres, who scored 54 goals in 52 games last season, while continuing to reach an impasse in conversations for Bryan Mbeumo van Brentford.
Mbeumo “frustrated” about transfer delay
Another player who was left impatiently during a movement is United Target Mbeumo, who have been in conversation with such so far.
United has rejected two bids for Mbeumo, the latter is one of £ 62.5 million – the same compensation they have paid for Cunha.
It is understood that Brentford is looking for more than £ 60 million, but wants the full reimbursement to be paid in advance, while United wants to pay it in installments.
Mbeumo was Brentford's star player last season and left 20 goals in the Premier League and is seen as a player who could revise the Fortuinen of United.
