Mykhailo Mudryk was spotted ringside ahead of Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury's highly anticipated rematch in Saudi Arabia on Saturday evening.
The Chelsea winger is currently serving a provisional ban from the FA after returning a positive drugs test for the banned substance meldonium.
Mudryk responded to the news on social media by insisting he did nothing wrong.
The Ukrainian will not be available for Chelsea this weekend in Sunday's Premier League match against Everton.
Mudryk now looks set to cheer on compatriot Usyk in his heavyweight title fight against Tyson Fury in Riyadh on Saturday evening, as seen in a photo from talkSPORT, after he was first sighted by a fan in Riyadh on Friday evening.
A Chelsea fan shared a photo of Mudryk on social media, reportedly after the Chelsea star arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of Usyk's clash with Fury.
Mudryk had responded to his failed drug test on Instagram earlier this week.
He wrote: 'I can confirm that I have been informed that a sample I provided to the FA contained a banned substance. This came as a complete shock as I have never knowingly used banned substances or broken any rules, and I am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.
'I know I have done nothing wrong and remain hopeful that I will be back on the field soon. I cannot say more now due to the confidentiality of the process, but I will do so as soon as possible.'
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca had insisted he trusts Mudryk following the news.
“We support and trust Misha,” Maresca said on Wednesday.
'Trust means that we believe Misha. We support Misha and then we'll see. We are all sad. Me, the club, the players, we are all there.'
Mudryk is one of the big stars expected to watch the Gulf state's heavyweights battle for a second time on Saturday night, with Sky Sports unveiling a ringside number for the bout.
Guests of honor include Jason Statham, Naseem Hameed, Francis Ngannou, Lennox Lewis and Daniel Dubois.
