Former UFC Flightweight Competer Muhammad Mokaev did not stop Steve Erceg after UFC Mexico City.
Former UFC title -Uceg's day -to -day agency lost his third consecutive fight on Saturday in the Headliner of UFC Mexico City. In a back and forth fight, Erceg went home with a unanimous decision defeat against Brandon Moreno, who confirmed his place as the potential subsequent flying weight title challenge.
It was again a disappointing setback for ERCEG after recent losses for UFC Flyweight Champion Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Kara-France. After three straight victories to start his promotional term of office, Erceg is now on the outside and looks at the title photo.
After the loss of ERCEG, it was not long before his long feud with Muhammad Mokaev to return to the foreground.

Muhammad Mokaev answers Steve Erceg's pre-PUC Mexico City Taunts
In a UFC Mexico City Fight Week interview on the Ariel Helwani show, Erceg was asked about the UFC exit of Mokaev and his problems with the former striking flight weight.
“I was shocked that he was being cut,” said Erceg. “Of course unbeaten, you think that's enough to stay in the UFC, but yes, I don't know. I didn't like the way he dealt with people around him, and he has sent me a message since then. I think he is a huge button, so I don't care.
“He seemed like a privileged diva, I think. If,” Everything has to be done the way I want it. I don't care if that is not how it was done. ” It was surprising because you would think that someone grew up as he grew up a little more modest. “
After Erceg lost to Moreno in the main event of UFC Mexico City, Mokaev gave a timely response.
'Come on courageous [Steve]”Mokaev posted on X.
“The results always louder than words. [Privileged] Diva. “
Mokaev was not again signed by the UFC after a matte victory over Manel Kape at UFC 304. He has since returned to MMA in Brave CF and earned a first round finish at Brave CF 91.
The undefeated Mokaev appeared on the advantage of a title shot before the UFC chose to give up after UFC 304. The UFC matchmakers and Mokaev had an alleged tense relationship during his term of office, including several pre-Fight fights with KAP for UFC 304.
UFC Mexico City contained 'robberies', Wilde Kos and a rare Bruce Buffer Blunder
UFC Mexico City was another eventful evening in the Octagon, with wild finishes and an entertaining main event between Moreno and Erceg.
The opening fight of the map contained a little controversy when Marquel Mederos won a Head-Scratching Split decision about Austin Hubbard. The controversies did not illuminate when the main map took place, when Manuel Torres won a fiercely intended TKO finish against Drew Dober.
UFC Octagon -Camper Bruce Buffer had a tough night in the office when he announced an incorrect fighting winner during the UFC Mexico City Prelims. But Buffer returned as the map took place.
As far as ERCEG is concerned, he will go back to bounce back in his next Octagon performance. If the UFC matchmakers choose to sign Mokaev along the line again, ERCEG and Mokaev may have a collision course.
