MU’s longest-serving employee expected to depart after 46 YEARS at Old Trafford

The newest round of Sir Jim Ratcliffe from Job Cuts has been set to claim the longest serving employee of Manchester United after 200 more employees discovered that they are in danger of being exempted.

Marie Marron, the highly respected football manager of United, is expected to leave at the end of the season after 46 years at Old Trafford.

After Kath Phipps, the beloved receptionist who worked at United for more than 55 years before she died in December, nobody worked at the club than Marron who was joined in 1978.

Marron is generally known in the game, has been in contact with the FA, FIFA and UEFA for years as part of its role, and dealing with the opponents of United for every domestic and European game.

She was in charge of all the activities in the Treble season of 1999 and was in Spain this week for the semi-final stage of the Europa League against Athletic Bilbao.

Marron, who has previously worked as an assistant to the club secretary, is also described as VAR's voice at Old Trafford.

She could become the newest long-term employee who loses their job in the midst of growing concern at United that the Savage Redundancy program under Ratcliffe, which often focuses on the more established employees, threatens to tear the heart and soul out of the club.
