Musiala pens long-term Bayern Munich contract

Jamal Musiala has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich and kept him at the Bundesliga Giants until 2030.

Musiala has been in excellent form this season and scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga, with Bayern eight points at the top before the collision of Saturday with title defender Bayer Leverkusen.

The 21-year-old Germany International, who came to Bayern in 2019 from the Academy of Chelsea, has also offered two assists, creating 33 opportunities in the competition.

“I have taken my first steps in professional football here and I am convinced that we can achieve something big with this club in the coming years,” said Musiala.

“I feel at home both in Munich and in the club with our great fans. We have many things we want to achieve.”

He is the third most important Bayern player who extends his deal in February after keeper Manuel Neuer and defender Alphonso Davies, who were associated with a move to Real Madrid.

Musiala was disputed as a potential target for Manchester City.
