Myles Lewis-Skelly is expected to sign a new contract in Arsenal this summer.
The 18-year-old only made his senior Gunners debut in September, but ended the 2024-25 season as one of the top players of Mikel Arteta.
Left behind Lewis-Skelly, who scored on his debut in England in a 2-0 win over Albania in March, has only a year left to walk on his first professional contract, which he signed in October 2023.
His impressive breakout season for Club and Country has led to rumors of interest from Real Madrid.
Mail Sport understands, however, that Arsenal is not worried about losing their valued Sterret on the Bernabeu.
Gunners Chiefs is considered convinced that Lewis-Skelly will use his future in the long term for his current club before the beginning of next season.
His new deal will come up with a considerable wage increase.
During his Breakout season, Lewis-Skelly played in 39 first team matches for Arsenal, including 23 in the Premier League.
He scored his first senior goal in February during a 5-1 win over Manchester City, before he marked it by imitating the characteristic celebration of Erling Haaland.
However, it was not a perfect campaign for Lewis-Skelly. He was sent away twice, in defeats by Wolves and West Ham.
The first red card from Lewis-Skelly was later withdrawn by appeal.
Arteta, however, thought it was necessary to give him up to prevent the prospect of a third dismissal after he had been shown a yellow card-one of the six for the season-in Arsenal's 7-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in March.
After that pounding victory, Arteta said: 'I think it was pretty clear that we had liability with the yellow card and the next action, so it was not the time to take any risk.
'We have learned from that experience to manage the game for so long, especially with how important this competition is, so it is a lesson to certainly learn for him.
“We will support and help him. But the line is really thin in this sport and he has to understand that.
“He is very intelligent, he is very much demanding. Immediately his reaction was so, he is a perfectionist, he has a great environment around him. And he is here to learn too. '
Later in the season, Lewis-Skelly Arteta greeted as a 'genius' and added:' His attention to detail is incredible.
'I like to learn, so the learning of him and the way he treats and approaches the games … It is fascinating. There is so much that I can take it from him. '
Lewis-Skelly is expected to add two English caps later this month, mentioned in the Thomas Tuchel team for the upcoming matches against Andorra and Senegal.
He spent Sunday in the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona as part of a team -binding trip organized by Tuchel.
