Napoli took the Scudetto for the second season of the last three thanks to their 2-0 win over Cagliari on Friday evening in the last round of Serie A.

On the way to the last round of the A-season series, Napoli gave a one point ahead of Title-rivals Inter Milan, which means that a victory for them, or simply corresponding interests, would secure the title for Antonio Conte.
And that is exactly what happened on Friday with Napoli Die Cagliari beat 2-0 thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay, while Inter Como set aside 2-0 simultaneously.
Interesting is that if the two parties were completed at points, they needed a play -off to determine the title.
The victory of Napoli was their 24th of the season. They have not been the biggest scorers in the competition, but Conte's men have maintained an average defense, only lost four times and only admitted 27 goals in the 38 rounds played.

It is only the fourth time in history that the club has won the Serie A title. They claimed it twice in the 1980s, driven by the magic of Diego Maradona and two seasons ago under the management of Luciano Spalletti.
Conte's success is remarkable for the fact that this is only his first season at the helm of the Partenopei. He previously won Serie A as a manager on four other occasions, three times with Juventus and once with Inter, but this title is perhaps his biggest of those performance. He has now become the very first coach who wins Serie A with three games.
Napoli not only had to reform their attack this season after lending striker Victor Osimhen, but they also sold star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG during the January transfer window.
In the absence of the two previously talismanic players, new stars have been created in Naples. The most striking thing is that Romelu Lukaku, who led the line with 14 goals this season and former Manchester United -midfielder Scott McTominay, who is a man reborn in Italy, who contributes to 12 goals and steal heart and headlines all season. Both scored on Friday.
