Randal Kolo Muani had Juve ahead on his debut before Napoli fought back through Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa's header and Romelu Lukaku's penalty.
“It was a great performance against a great team that was undefeated and that has an excellent squad at its disposal and continues to strengthen itself in the January period,” Conte told DAZN.
“This should give us great satisfaction. It proves that hard work pays off and that even if we lose players at the last minute, due to Olivera's calf injury yesterday, we can still close the gaps with our hard work and strong character. I want to emphasize that because we work so hard, I am fortunate to have guys that I have absolute confidence in, and it shows.
“Winning back-to-back against Atalanta and Juventus only increased our confidence as we faced situations that could have been a fatal blow for anyone, but we managed to avoid feeling sorry for ourselves.
“Sometimes I wonder what this team is missing, but a true leader has to evaluate what he has at his disposal and that is where I try to make a difference.
“The boys fully believe in what we do. When we read the stats, we get dizzy when we see what the same team did last season. Don't forget the huge gap that existed between Napoli and teams like Juventus, Inter and Atalanta, while today we have reversed that situation compared to the clubs that always have to fight to win because their history demands it.”
