The Legend of Manchester City came to Napoli in a free transfer last month.
When asked about his plans for De Bruyne, Conte said: “It's too early to talk about it. At the end of the year we can evaluate the impact that the player had. What is clear is that he does not need an introduction.
“We wanted to increase the quality level and we undoubtedly did that with him.
“For years he has been one of the best midfielders in the world. He has won everything with the city. Now he is taking on a new challenge and for him it is something else at all levels. I experience him as a man who has adapted very well to our environment. We are happy to have him.”
Conte continued: “In our work to build a team for the future, he (De Bruyne) is important because he is already established, unlike others who are still developing.
“The others we bring in are players who still have to get better and will be here for years. We have a lot to do, but we are ready.”
