In an interview with Radio CRC, the player thought about his first season in Italy and what a Serie A champion meant for him.
He described it as the highlight of his career, surpassed the FA Cup and EFL Cup trophies he won with the Red Devils.
“Settling in Serie A was made very easy by Coach Conte and my teammates, who have been fantastic with me from the very first moment I arrived,” said McTominay.
“It was the best moment of my career. I couldn't have dreamed of something better. I did an interview four months ago and told the Napolitans that I wanted to bring them the league title, and through hard work – we did it.
“The target was very important, but now we have to concentrate on the new season and we have to do it again. Great teams and great players are always more hungry and I will do my best for this team. We have many competitions and a great group this year.”
