Napoli to hand Hojlund a huge £1.5M pay rise to convince him to leave

United remains willing to sell Hojlund, which is available for just over £ 30 million Depsite signing for the club in a £ 72 million deal in August 2023. Reports state that the Italian giant Napoli are making progress to sign the Danish international, because conversations with the Red Devils have been going on for a few days.

Hojlund would earn around £ 2.4 million a year from the Premier League side, which is a substantial fee for an attacker who scored 26 goals in 95 games. The Daily Mail report that Napoli is willing to increase his wages even further despite its inconsistent versions.

The report states that the Serie A side would have said that it has offered an initial loan agreement of € 5 million (£ 4.3 million) to Man United for Hojlund, with the option to make the move permanent for € 40 million (£ 34.5 million). A loan movement has been advertised because of its high wages that seem to be no problem for Napoli who could possibly have lowered the price tag of £ 30 million.

Hojlund went 16 consecutive Premier League matches last season without a goal, which led to some harsh criticism from the experts. His current contract with Manchester United lasts until 2028 and although loan agreements have been reported, the athletic claim claims that United is looking for a sale that could be Napoli before the transfer window is concluded next week.
