Alejandro Garnacho can be twice as good as he leaves Manchester United, according to President Aurelio di Laurentiis of Napoli.
The Serie A champions chase Garnacho after Di Laurentiis publicly announced their interest – and took a wipe at United.
Garnacho is one of the five players who are frozen from training by Ruben Amorim because the Portuguese want him to find a new club.
Napoli had rejected an £ 40 million offer in January and United is supposed to keep more than £ 50 million.
“Garnacho has pace, flair and potential,” said Di Laurentiis. “But that's not even why we want him.
“We want him because he is in United. Take him out and he becomes the player twice. There is an error at United that I cannot explain. '
