Nate Diaz blasts ‘dorks’ Conor McGregor, Jake Paul, and Logan Paul after shock link up

Former UFC superstar Nate Diaz called out Conor McGregor, along with Jake and Logan Paul, for their cordiality at the inauguration of US President Donald Trump.

Amid rumored fight talks between former UFC champion Conor McGregor and the Paul brothers, all three parties met at Donald Trump's US presidential inauguration in Washington DC on Monday. In particular, the years-long battle between McGregor and Jake Paul was put on display during the historic event in the US Capitol.

McGregor and Logan Paul are being linked to a possible boxing match in India later this year after McGregor revealed on social media that he has made 'tentative agreements' to meet Paul. But as of this writing, talks about the fight have stalled and the integrity of the proposed fight between McGregor and Paul remains uncertain.

In a recent tweet, Diaz lambasted McGregor and both Paul brothers.

“Sit where you're told on the big inauguration day you fukn dorks,” Diaz tweeted along with a video titled “3 fukn nerds.”

At the time of writing, neither McGregor nor the Paul brothers have publicly responded to Diaz's disses. McGregor is planning a return to combat sports later this year, possibly in the UFC Octagon, as has been repeatedly targeted by UFC CEO Dana White.

Diaz fought Jake Paul in his professional boxing debut in 2023 and lost by unanimous decision. He earned his first professional boxing victory by defeating former BMF foe Jorge Masvidal last year.

Diaz's long rivalry with McGregor is well documented and stems from their two instant classic fights in the UFC. Diaz pulled off one of the biggest upsets in UFC history over McGregor at UFC 196 before McGregor defeated Diaz in their UFC 202 rematch.

Since their second fight, there has been talk of a trilogy fight between McGregor and Diaz, although formal negotiations have not materialized. Diaz retired from the UFC following a win over Tony Ferguson in the UFC 279 main event.

Logan Paul, amid ongoing talks to face McGregor in a boxing match, has also become a huge star in WWE, which is reportedly an obstacle to the fight happening. Logan last competed in the boxing ring in 2023, defeating former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis by disqualification.
