Nate Diaz compares Islam Makhachev to an Ewok from Star Wars
Nate Diaz is no stranger to drama, with the Stockton fighter feuding with Islam Makhachev and his team at UFC 310.
When the two crews met backstage, carnage ensued, with Diaz launching a bottle towards his targets before throwing one back.
Interestingly, before the clash, Makhachev claimed everything was fine, telling Demetrious Johnson on the flyweight star's YouTube channel: “You know what's interesting, maybe five, six months ago I met Diaz in the elevator at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, he goes up to me and says, 'Respect, respect, respect,' and just kept walking. But what has changed now? When there are a lot of cameras, people always change.”
Naturally, Diaz refutes this claim and uses the world of science fiction to destroy his rival.

In an Instagram post he raged: “I didn't even know Islam existed. I don't even know which one he is. I was just there to corner my boy, and these ewoks threw a bottle at me, looking for power. WTF have I done?
“And I've never seen this guy in an elevator, wtf. I thought religious people didn't lie. Wtf is going on?”

In just a few days, the Dagestani will put his title on the line when he faces Arman Tsarukyan in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 311.
As his star power continues to grow, the champion has been promoting the fight on several podcasts, and recently spoke to one of the best to ever do it.
