Nate Diaz excites fans as he teases fight news in three-word social media update

Fight fans are optimistic that the return of Nate Diaz is almost on us.

The UFC fan's favorite ended his 15-year-old run with the most important promotion of MMA after stitching Tony Ferguson on UFC 279 in September 2022.

Since then, the 40-year-old has crossed to boxing and the distance has gone with Jake Paul.

In July 2024, Nate Diaz bounced back from his boxing debut, defeat by opening Jorge Masvidal in the Ring over 10 rounds.

Nate Diaz teases comeback

Earlier this year, Nate Diaz relieved the pension anxiety by describing his plan to 'fight forever'.

Yet there is little talk about when, where, or who will then fight the UFC legend.

All of that changed on Thursday evening when Diaz dropped a comeback update of three words.

“See you soon,” he scored a photo of him who worked on his boxing skills.

Diaz fans quickly gathered in the commentary part to respond to his plagued fighting news.

“My goat is back,” said a fan. While another asked, “Boxing or UFC return?”

“I definitely look,” someone else noticed.

“We need you back in the UFC,” said a fourth fan.

“Fighting Nate needs. Everything is boring nowadays,” moaned another Instagram user.

“Legend,” wrote this happy fan.

Will Nate Diaz ever return to the UFC?

Diaz has been honest about his desire to return to the UFC since he left the company.

In March, Diaz emphasized the lack of UFC stars when he explained why his return to MMA did not happen yet.

“It's about buzz and who pops and who does something and at the moment there is no one who s – in the UFC.” he said. “There is f—, what is his name?” Patan, “Alex Pereira. So there is him and there was also Israel Adesanya. I mean, he is still there, but he doesn't do much now.”

“Nobody, that's why I'm not in it now, you know what I say? But I look, I hope for something.

“Every body in boxing and in MMA and everyone who has something for them think they are tight.”
