One of the best UFC -Superster Nate Diaz's best combat sport heights came against Kurt Pellegrino in Broomfield, co.
Nate Diaz was known as the younger brother of Nick Diaz during the children's shoes of his UFC career. But during a UFC Fight Night event in 2008, Diaz cut his own path into what is considered the 'worst' moment of his promotional term of office.

Nate Diaz turned Kurt Pellegrino when he tapped him with an annoying choke
Diaz and Pellegrino had some beef in their lightweight fight in April 2008. After a slow start for Diaz against Pellegrino in the opening minutes, he quickly found his momentum in round 2 from the lower position.
While Diaz Pellegrino in a triangle stitched, and when Pellegrino appeared near Tikken, Diaz Pellegrino was finished just before the fight was canceled. Diaz walked away with a 'submission of the night' after the fight performance bonus for his victory.

Nate Diaz teased a UFC referee after he had taken revenge on former BMF rival
Diaz eventually fights for the UFC light weight against Benson Henderson four years after the Pellegrino victory and lost a unanimous decision. After a run in the UFC, a short-notice oversource victory over McGregor shot the stock from Diaz to new heights.
Diaz separated roads with the UFC after a victory over Tony Ferguson in the UFC 279 Main Event in 2022. But after a box loss for Jake Paul and a victory over former BMF rival Jorge Masvidal, Diaz could possibly be on the way back to the Octagon in 2025.
Diaz entertained a potential return to the UFC in a recent interview, but called the lack of big stars of the UFC as an important reason why he is hesitant to return to MMA. He wants to run to a UFC title, despite losses in three of his last five MMA trips.
A trilogy fight with McGregor is such an option that could lure Diaz back to the Octagon. But that option is off the table, at least temporarily, after McGregor retired MMA on a recent bare Knuckle FC press conference.
In both cases, Diaz remains a top name in combat sports and would probably make a large bank in every combat sport company. Don't be surprised if the Stockton star returns to the Octagon this summer, because he may want to fight a title.
