Gary Neville believes that Arsenal has gained 'Hope' in the title race despite the victory of Liverpool over Wolves.
The side of Arne Slot survived a second half afraid to beat the relegation-threatened visitors with 2-1 and to recover their seven-point lead over the Gunners.
The victory in Anfield came a day after Arsenal, without a recognized striker, claimed a 2-0 win against Leicester thanks to the late brace of Mikel Merino.
Neville believes that Arsenal will be more hopeful to catch Liverpool, because the leaders have not won in style.
He said on Sky Sports: 'I thought it was a good day for Liverpool, but half a decent day for Arsenal too, because Liverpool has left villa and city and just crossed the line against a Wolves team that in the second half was fantastic.
“It was a good result for Liverpool and it was not 4-0 or something and that will give Arsenal Hope.”
In the meantime, Redknapp says that the title race will be 'edgy' until the end of the season.
“This will be Edgy. They have had some bad results. They had to get three points, regardless of how they did it. '
Neville added: 'If Liverpool can come through these following three games, Arsenal Forest and United have gone away. Those are not simple games.
“If Liverpool can withstand these games with four points, there is a good chance that they will drop points.”
Liverpool gets the chance to extend their lead over Arsenal to 10 points when they visit Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
In the meantime, Arsenal will return to action next Saturday while they are organizing West Ham, where the leaders are then confronted with Manchester City the next day.
