Manchester United can be set for a busy summer after what a miserable season has been and Gary Neville believes that the team could look completely different prior to the next campaign
Gary Neville has claimed that ten stars from Manchester United could leave the club this summer in a brutal tidy. The Red Devils have passed this period a rotten campaign and could even finish the season, only a place above the relegation zone.
United has still succeeded in reaching the Europa League final and will give a place back in the Champions League if they beat Tottenham later this month. Regardless of the result, Club icon Neville still expects a huge revision in the team this summer, with many expected outputs.
The former defender said about the debate about overlapping fans: “You were talking about eight to 10 players. There are three or four players who leave by being out of the contract, and he has to get it [another] Five or six out, and they have to pay to get them out.
“The wage of Rashford is now half paid by Manchester United. That is £ 180,000 a week, £ 8 million a year is paid by United.”
As it looks now, four stars will leave at the end of their deals, with Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans who end their contracts in just a month. Tom Heaton also has a decayed contract, but reports have claimed that United wants to keep him in the club for another year.
In the meantime, those who are on loan, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are expected to be sold in the summer. There may also be a number of sales that United does not want, where Bruno Fernandes is linked to movements to Real Madrid and Saudi Arabia, although Amorim is determined to keep the Portuguese midfielder at Old Trafford.
Neville is not the only former United star who expects a massive exodus in the coming months. Former teammate Rio Ferdinand has also suggested that Amorim could cut at half of the current team at his disposal.
He said: “I think he looks around the dressing room and thinks:” If I could wave a magic wand, at least 50 percent of this team would not be here in the next five years “.

“Because they are not good enough and they are not right for the way he wants to play. I look at him and think that, at least, he needs two good windows to remove from those he does not need, but also get players he really needs.”
