GARY NEVILLE frantically shoveled snow ON the Anfield pitch ahead of Manchester United's visit to the ground.
The Red Devils will take on Liverpool in the Premier League this afternoon.
There were concerns that the match would be canceled due to bad weather.
Two field inspections have already taken place, which led to the decision to go ahead with the match.
However, Neville was clearly in favor of the match being postponed due to Man United's poor form.
Liverpool are the overwhelming favorites to win the match and the Man United legend looked to take matters into his own hands.
As Jamie Carragher helped shovel snow off the field, Neville could be seen shoveling the snow back on.
Sky Sports shared the video on social media and fans all reacted in kind.
One posted: “Gary on the postponement of his mission.”
A second wrote: “Dude trying so hard.”
A third commented: “Come on Gary, believe in us more.”
A fourth said: “Even Manchester United legends know they are so rubbish.”
Another added: “Neville is doing his best to get the match cancelled.”
Man United's match against Liverpool has been confirmed, despite three EFL matches being postponed.
League Two clashes between Chesterfield and Gillingham, as well as Fleetwood versus AFC Wimbledon.
A late decision was also made to call off Newport County's match against Morecambe.
