Neville SLAMS ‘absolute madness’ and  ’embarrassing’ MU tactics in Spur loss

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville Branded Ruben Amorim's tactics against Tottenham 'Absolute Madness' and 'Gênant'.

United was beaten by Tottenham 1-0 on Sunday after James Maddison hit the only goal of the game in the 13th minute and a goalkeeper error by Andre Onana punished.

The visitors insisted on an equalizer in the second half, but could not find the breakthrough, so that Ange Postecoglou and Co had an essential three points.

United traveled to North London on the back of a week in which a number of stars from the first team had seen an injury to injuries.

As such, Ruben Amorim was forced to shake his pack, with Kobbie Mainoo, Toby Collyer, Christian Eriksen and Manuel Ugarte, which means that a return for Casemiro was required, in which Bruno Fernandes fell deeper to be a partner.

As such, former Right Back Neville quickly criticized the tactics of his old party on co-comment tasks, in particular with regard to the improvised midfield pairs.

“The distance between the two midfielders for United is completely wrong,” said Neville.

'Look where (Bruno) Fernandes is, see where Casemiro is. It breaks all football rules. It is absolute madness. The structure of the team is terrible. The two in midfield are split.

'You would not see this in football under 9s. Look at the room in midfield. Shocking.'

The defeat left United in 15th place in the Premier League, where Amorim's tries to live at Old Trafford Continuing.

With his side for a period without his favorite midfield partnership, things seem to go from bad to worse.

With Fernandes who dropped deeper, Joshua Zirkzee had to start behind the rush and set up a much improved version.
