Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois could be back in the national team of Belgium at the beginning of 2025.
The Los Blancos No.1 is currently in eighth place in the all time list of performances for the Red Devils with 102 caps.
After his controversial decision to resign from the team in August 2024, the 32-year-old did not, however, added to his count of international competitions.
His international exile was based on a tense disagreement with former head coach Domenico Tedesco, who eventually confirmed his call on international duty.
Courtois has indicated its openness for a resolution and the decision to dismiss Tedesco, because of his inconsistent results in 2024, has opened the door.
Belgium is the following in action in the UEFA Nations League play -offs of March, against Ukraine, before 2026 the FIFA World Cup qualification starts in June with competitions against North Macedonia and Wales.
As part of a rapid reversal after the resignation of Tedesco, Belgium has appointed experienced coach Rudi Garcia as his replacement, and the future of Courtois is an important item in his in-load.
One of the first questions that Garcia was confronted with in his opening conference was aimed at his plans for Courtois and the situation could be resolved soon.

Garcia also dropped a brutal hint that his new assistant manager Eden Hazard could help his former Los Blancos teammate convince a change in heart.
“I spoke a lot with Eden, who will be part of this adventure. He could be valuable, he lives in Madrid, which can be an advantage in the Courtois case. '
