NEW FIFA World Ranking: Croatia crash Italy out of Top 10, Portugal up to 6th

The last few months have seen a number of awesome football action, including on the international stage with FIFA World Cup 26 ™ qualifications, confederation programs and a number of friendly competitions. Since the last edition of FIFA/Coca-Cola Men's World Ranking, more than 200 relevant national team developments have been released, and those competitions have left their mark on the rankings.

The changes start at the top, where Croatia climbs in a place to return to the top 10 at the expense of Italy (11th, 2). For their part, Portugal (6th, above 1) and the Netherlands (7th, Down 1) have changed place, while the eighth placed Belgium has not stimulated, but now that Germany (9th, above 1) have ominous. However, there is no movement on the top. FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 winners Argentina remain in pole position, with Spain (2nd) and France (3rd) still their closest challengers and England and Brazil continue to close the top five in that order.

Although both Concacaf Gold Cup finalists are upwardly mobile, Champions Mexico (13th, a higher 4) has beaten finalists the United States (15th, 1), to become the best-ranking team of the region. In the meantime, Senegal (18th, above 1) has cemented their berths in the top 20, just like Switzerland (19th, also 1).

Several teams have climbed five places, including Norway (now 33rd), Paraguay (43rd), North Macedonia (62nd) and Zambia (83rd), but they are overshadowed by Costa Rica (40th, up 14): the biggest climbers of this edition in terms of places. While Los Ticos adorned the last eight at the Gold Cup, the two losing semi-finalists at the Concacaf pronkpiece, Honduras (66th, up 9) and Guatemala (100th, above 6) also have taken considerable steps because of their fine runs.

Asia is also no stranger to spectacular peaks, with Indonesia (118th, an increase 5), Malaysia (125th, up 6), Hong Kong, China (147th, up 6) and Laos (185th, up 5) who are Voorweg. Even greater claims have been laid down by Bermuda (162e, an increase of 6) and Grenada (167th, an increase of 7).

Finally, Canada (28th, UP 2) and Kosovo (95th, also 2) earn a special mention. After having hit new heights in April, both built that performance and are again beautiful in their highest position ever.
