New footage shows moment that sparked huge brawl between Liverpool and Everton stars and four red cards

New images came to the fore from the crazy scenes that caused a huge fight immediately after the last whistle during the Everton-Liverpool game.

The last Merseyside Derby in Goodison Park ended in a 2-2 draw with the late volley of James Tarkowski and ensured that the loot was shared in a brightly disputed fixture.

But there were explosive scenes on the full -time whistle when players wore the blue and red that bumped into the field.

It came about when Abdoulaye Doucoure ran to the fans of the road to celebrate the deceased equalizer.

Curtis Jones, who has been in Liverpool since the age of nine, was not so friendly for the celebration for him and shot to confront the Toffees midfielder.

From there, players, coaches and stewards rushed to spread the situation, although it ultimately only expanded the fight.

But new images released by Omroep TNT Sports have given viewers a new insight into the incident.

A delayed version of the events shows how a true Jones, 24, ran upstairs to take the shirt of his 32-year-old rival.

Carlos Alcaraz and Ashley Young immediately come on stage and try to separate the pair, but Jones had a vice-like grip on the Doucoure shirt and was determined to convey his point.

Jones was grabbed and tore with both hands while at the same time trying to drag away through the other two Everton stars.

Liverpool -Paar Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez and Toffees -defender Jake O'Brien then arrived on stage just after stewards to help them separate.

As more players joined the Melee, a plastic water bottle was thrown out of the crowd.

Fortunately it missed the heads of everyone involved in the scrap and instead became the shoulders of Beto, who scored the opening goal of the game after 11 minutes, before he bounced and bounced behind him.

Jones and Doucoure were both sent away for their actions, while Arne Slot also got his mars orders after shaking Michael Oliver.

It has resulted in a ban on two games after Slot is said to have used “offensive, insulting or offensive language”.

Reds-assistant manager Sipke Hulshoff was also fired for a constant fight about the Everton equalizer because of a clear error on Ibrahima Konate in the structure.

Speaking of the incident and the game itself, Everton manager David Moyes said: “It was Mayhem All Game, it was a bit of an old-fashioned throwback.

“The piece after the game, I could tell you about it, but the truth is that it is not really what we should be talking about.

“What I know is that Doucoure has a yellow that has led to a red that I am disappointed about because we have a shortage of players.

“The place cooked warm all night, emotionally, it was an incredible atmosphere in the stadium. I think it was extremely important that Evertonians end up as well as possible in their stadium.

“I just feel that the support here was incredible, it was incredible support and I think it was appropriate that they put an end as they did.

“We didn't win, which was disappointing, but we got a draw in a game that didn't look like it would go to our advantage. It would have been difficult to lose here with 2-1 and talk about it.

“But I think the way the crowd remained until the end, it was a magical moment.

Slot could not talk to the press that was sent, but in his absence, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk said: “We all know that this is their cup final and they will do everything in their power to try to win against us.

“I think Doucoure eventually wanted to provoke our fans from what I saw and Curtis didn't think that's the right thing to do.

“Of course you know what happens when there is a little struggle, but I didn't think the referee had the game under control, I told him.”
