Newcastle strengthened their status in the Champions League places with a 2-0 win over Chelsea.
Sandro Tonali hit an electric opening in St James' Park within two minutes, but it took until the 90th for Bruno Guimaraes to hit the second home.
The position of Chelsea weakened when Nicolas Jackson was sent away after a VAR check on an elbow on Sven Botman, where his teammates barely recognized him while walking to the tunnel. He will miss suspended for the rest of the season.
