Newcastle has confirmed that Eddie Howe has been admitted to the hospital and will miss their match against Manchester United on Sunday.
“Eddie Howe will miss tomorrow's game against Manchester United due to illness,” said a Newcastle statement.
'The main coach of the Magpies was admitted to the hospital late on Friday evening after he felt unwell for a few days.
“Everyone at Newcastle United extends their best wishes to Eddie for a quick recovery, and further updates will follow in due course.”
