Newcastle look out to miss a deal for Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United, who in turn can prevent
Newcastle is expected to continue to other goals with Manchester United, now the red -hot favorites to sign Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig after submitting an offer for the wanted striker.
The Magpies already had plans to acquire new No. 9 this summer before the transfer speculation that Alexander Isak connects with Liverpool warmed up. But unfortunately for Newcastle they had a number of setbacks on the market this summer.
They wanted to sign Hugo Eintracht Frankfurt and offer it to the Frenchman, but then to see him move to Anfield.
Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Bryan Mbeumo are among the other attackers who went elsewhere after they started this summer through Newcastle.
And the magpies are now brace for more disappointment in their pursuit of Sesko, which is understood as a move to Manchester United.
With that in mind Talksport claims that Ollie Watkins, Nicolas Jackson, Yoane Wissa and Lois Openda are alternative goals that now consider Newcastle.
Watkins from Aston Villa is previously connected to both Arsenal and United, while the interest in Wissa had previously arisen. De Dr. Congo Forward is also linked to Tottenham.
Jackson could still leave Chelsea this summer and is also linked to United. In the meantime, Openda scored nine goals in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig, who are braced for the departure of Sesko.
With Newcastle who has difficulty gaining their desired No. 9 goals, Liverpool hopes the Landing Isak in balance.
The Reds are supposed to be willing to break the British transfer record for the second time this summer to sign Isak after he has previously agreed to pay an amount in the £ 116 million region including add-ons to acquire Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.
Sesko was considered the type of statement signing that might alleviate the blow to lose a player of Isak's quality. But the preference of the Slovenia striker for a move to United could scupe – or at least delay – Liverpool's Swoop for Isak.
Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that Isak was told to report only for training after the end of a family activity day after the training away from the group in Spain recently.
