With UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady is a rather gloomy event, it was left to the 'Dirty Boxing Championship' to deliver your weekend combat fix.
The first 'official' event of the DBX promotion went without a towbar, with enormous interruption victories scored by former UFC hunters Andrei Arlovski and Yoel Romero.
DBX1 also attracted a whole series of well-known names, including Streamer Adin Ross, who teased a potential switch to influencer-oriented combat promotion during the event.

Adin Ross lives at the first 'official' event of Dirty Boxing Championship
Last night, controversial kick streamer Adin Ross attended 'Dirty Boxing Championship 1' in Miami, Florida, and spoke briefly with Danny Segura as he saw the event unfolded.
“Man, now I am at the point to see how these two big boys do it up. So far, so cool … I love the atmosphere, it is like a mini -box event that I would go in Vegas – it's great so far, the atmosphere and the energy is great. Great.”
Given the rise of influencer boxing in recent years and the fact that Ross remains one of the biggest names in the industry, does the Kick icon have the desire to get in the ring itself?
“I want to be the next Dana White,” Ross laughed in response and admitted that “I don't think I would see myself coming in there someday [to fight].
“My parents would not leave me for it, but for two I think I will promote – I will fight, I think that's what I would do – I don't think I would get there.”
Yoel Romero beats malignant from 6'6 giant in the main event of DBX1
The presence of Adin Ross is even more proof that the dirty boxing championship has made an important impression on combat sport fans since the debut behind closed thouses at the end of 2024.
That is partly due to the headliner -recovery power, now twice, “the soldier of God.”
In the main event of DBX1, Yoel Romero stepped to his typical slow start, allowing his 6'6 ”opponent Ras Hylton to run away with the opening two rounds by fighting an extensive puncture.
The former UFC hunter then started working Hylton's body and in the third round Romero was warmed up for the considerable task that was obvious.
With about 30 seconds to go, the Cubaan finally found the money shot he was looking for; Unloading a cracking right hand that Hylton saw crumbling on the ground.
In the Co-Main event of the DBX1 evening, Andrei Arlovski scored a TKO victory through Doctor's stop after opening a horrible cut to his opponent, Terrance Hodges.
With his first major event in the bag and a new co-owner in the form of Jon 'Bones' Jones in tow, the future looks incredibly clear for a dirty boxing championship.
