Neymar's new Santos wage was unveiled after the termination of his £ 130 million a year with Al-Hilal.
Neymar will make a long-awaited return to his boys' club, Santos FC, after having terminated his contract with Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
The 32-year-old Brazilian has agreed to a six-month contract with Santos, with the aim of rejuvenating his career and to guarantee a place in the Brazilian team for the World Cup 2026.
Financially, the new Neymar deal with Santos includes a basic salary of approximately £ 135.507 (R $ 1 million) per month, supplemented by a maximum of 90 percent of his image rights.
The structure for this deal reflects the successful arrangement from his previous term of office in Santos between 2010 and 2013.
At that time, Neymar earned a basic salary of £ 40,683 (R $ 300,000), but took home around £ 429,147 (R $ 3.3 million) every month, thanks to the preservation of 90 percent of his image rights.
The club is of the opinion that, with claims in the digital landscape, Neymar income can now reach up to £ 819,433 (R $ 6 million) per month.
According to the Primeira via UOL ESPorte, that would mean that Neymar's basic salary would make 18 percent of his total profit per year.
Neymar's Stint with Al-Hilal was marred by injuries, which limited him to only seven performances and one goal for 17 months.
He suffered a serious knee injury, followed by a hamstring problem, which significantly influenced his playing time at the Saudi -established club.
Despite the signing of a contract of £ 130 million a year of Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar had difficulty meet expectations in the Saudi-Pro League.
As a result, he and the club decided to separate – so Neymar could join his boy's club Santos again.
“It's time (to come back), Neymar. It is time for you to return to your people. In our house, to the club in our hearts, “said Santos President Marcelo Teixeira.
'Welcome, our boy Ney! A boy from Vila (Belmiro, Santos' Stadium). Come back to be happy again with the white and black shirt. '
The video of Teixeira, posted on social media on Tuesday, ended by saying: “The Santos Nation Wait for you with open arms.”
Teixeira then shared images of a teenager Neymar enjoying his days in the club as a teenager, with clips from him scored and fourth goals.
Santos are one of the largest clubs in Brazil that have won eight national titles, 22 regional competitions in Sao Paulo and three Copa Libertadores -Kronen.
Brazilian greats such as Pele, Carlos Alberto, Coutinho, Zito and much more have adorned the Vila Belmiro for the years.
They have fallen at more difficult times in recent years and have relegated to the second layer in 2023, but reflected back last year.
No man has been nominated for a balloon d'Or for their exploits with a Brazilian team since Neymar has washed it three times in the famous black -white stripes.
