Nick Diaz offered help for concerning behavior by former fighter he jumped during infamous Strikeforce brawl
Jason 'Mayhem' Miller wants to offer a helping hand to UFC star Nick Diaz after some disturbing images of the Stockton native's recent behavior went viral.
Nick Diaz's planned UFC comeback has been postponed indefinitely after he was set to face Vicente Luque in a welterweight bout at UFC 310. The two fighters were scheduled to clash at UFC Abu Dhabi earlier this year before the fight was canceled due to a reported travel issue with Diaz .
Just days after Diaz vs. Luque was cut from UFC 310 and after Luque was paired with a new opponent, footage went viral showing Diaz trying to set a patch of grass on fire. Many speculated that Diaz was on a harsh drug at the time of the music video, and many wondered if Diaz's health was in significant jeopardy.
Diaz and his team have been silent since announcing his withdrawal from UFC 310. At the time of writing, it is uncertain whether he will return to the Octagon at a later date, and whether there are any concerns about his health.
Diaz and Jason “Mayhem” Miller were at the center of one of the wildest moments in MMA history at Strikeforce: Nashville in 2010. After Diaz's teammate Jake Shields scored a win in the main event, Miller entered the cage and asked for a rematch. which led to Diaz and his team attacking Miller during the live broadcast.
Fourteen years later, cooler heads have prevailed and Miller wants to do whatever he can to help Diaz out of the Octagon.

Jason 'Mayhem' Miller Wants to Help Nick Diaz 'Get to a Better Place'
During a recent interview with Helen Yee, Miller responded to the recent Diaz images and offered help to his old rival.
“We all saw what we saw. I won't dwell too deeply on it, but I think people in Nick's life need to rally around, everyone who's ever made some money off of him needs to come around and help this guy out,” Miller said of Diaz. “We had problems or whatever since we were kids, but that doesn't stop me from giving this man a helping hand when he needs it. If he is not ready to lend a helping hand, all of you should continue to follow him!
“The people close to him, his brother, his family, friends. All the young boys who made money from him, he needs you now. That's not a bad thing about him, it's just a tough sport we're in and it's easy to stumble over the wrong things. Super easy. And it's even harder to get out of there, so my advice isn't for him, it's for all the people around him to help him get to a better place in his life.
Miller, who has had his own controversial moments outside of fighting, retired from MMA in 2016. He defeated the likes of Kazushi Sakuraba, Tim Kennedy and Robbie Lawler during his fighting career.

Nick Diaz's UFC future is uncertain after two cancellations in 2024
Diaz was briefly linked to a professional wrestling match with former rival Georges St-Pierre before St-Pierre suffered an injury prior to the UFC Fight Pass Invitational showdown.
Diaz returned to the Octagon after a six-year absence at UFC 266 against Lawler, losing by TKO. He hasn't won inside the Octagon since beating BJ Penn at UFC 137.
There's no telling what the future holds for the eldest Diaz brother in the UFC, but Miller wants to do everything he can to help Diaz get on the right path. Miller's message shows that even the most hostile issues can be put aside over time.
