Last Friday, Power Slap 10 took place from Las Vegas and UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira was on hand for the night of slap fighting.
The UFC's biggest active star, Alex Pereira, was in Las Vegas this past week as Fighters Only held their annual World MMA Awards.
'Poatan' received the 'Fighter of the Year' award following his incredible year as the UFC 205-pound champion, having defended his title three times across three major events.

Alex Pereira unimpressed after Power Slap 10 KO
During his time in Las Vegas this week, the 37-year-old decided to stay on for Power Slap 10, which features a heavyweight title fight between Damien Dibbell and Dorian Perez as the main event.
Dibbell retained the title after what was reportedly five hard-fought rounds, but the UFC light heavyweight champion was unimpressed.

The person who made the video asked Pereira: “Chama or no chama?”
Breaking character slightly, Pereira looked at the camera and giggled as he replied, “No chama.”
Power Slap is relatively controversial, not only among the UFC fanbase, but a large majority of the UFC roster also doesn't believe it's a real sport, despite Dana White consistently trying to hype it up.
Not only that, but the UFC CEO claimed that Power Slap will surpass the UFC in popularity, comparing the criticism it has received in its infancy to the UFC.
Alex Pereira wants to make it 'more difficult' for Magomed Ankalaev
Pereira is currently taking a well-deserved break from the Octagon and will most likely return to defend his title against Russian contender Magomed Ankalaev.
Despite this, the Brazilian has continually teased Ankalaev, stating that he would like to fight Jon Jones instead, but that fight is unlikely to happen.
After accepting that Ankalaev is the next challenger, Pereira recently admitted that he would like to make things 'more difficult' for the Russian knowing he is next.
“It looks like it's (the next one), but I don't know. It doesn't just depend on me. But like I said, I was going to make it a little more difficult for him… Not out of fear, because everyone knows who I dealt with,” Pereira told MMA Junkie.
'I'm not afraid to fight him. But I would like to make it a little more difficult for him, just because of the lies that are being told,” he continued.
However, this past week Pereira had a meeting with former enemy, 'Sweetdreams' Hill. Since Pereira knocked him out, Hill has stated that it was unfair when Herb Dean temporarily stopped fighting.
At the UFC Performance Institute this week, Hill tried to confront Pereira while he was training, but he may not have expected Pereira to pull a spare pair of gloves from his bag and offer to fight him there and then.
