Barcelona suffered a scared on Sunday afternoon when in the opening 10 minutes star -midfielder Gavi went down with a cup of knock. After a long delay while he was down, Gavi de Brancard neglected, but was still collected with head injury.
The Blaugrana later confirmed on Sunday that Gavi, who recently signed a new deal with the club, now recovered from the incident under medical supervision at home after he had had a concussion. However, cameras from Movistar+ have recorded the incident, the conversation between the Barcelona doctor and Gavi too, in which it can be seen that he clearly could not continue.
“Which day is it?” Asks the doctor, to which Gavi answers “no idea.” He is able to respond 'two hours' when he was asked what time the game was. “I want to continue,” says Gavi, but vice-captain Raphinha approaches to say, “Listen, you have had a head of the head.” After trying to go on, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick says, after being told that Gavi has a concussion by the club doctor, the 20-year-old that “we have to be careful.”
It is not assumed that Gavi will suffer permanent damage, although that will be determined on time. Fortunately, the same can be said for Alaves midfielder Tomas Conechny. The Argentinian midfielder was a knock on the other side of the head and he was stretched and taken to the hospital.
According to Diario As Conechny, a head trauma and a 'crack in his frontal bone' suffered, and he stayed in Barcelona in the hospital at night under supervision. He is expected to undergo a brain scan to ensure that there is no further damage.
So far, however, it is not assumed that he has suffered permanent damage, and these measures are precautionary. Conechny was consciously consciously after the collision of heads and while he was taken to the hospital.
