Norwich star Brad Hills was left with a bloody head after blowing with Northhampton's Cameron McGeehan in a “friendly” for the season.
The two men succeeded in the collision on Saturday for the season, which Norwich won 3-1.
Hills and McGeehan, who is married to Made in Chelsea star Tiffany Watson, collided with each other after a clashing heads while they duel in the air for a loose ball.
Neither of them was happy when Hills, 21, was the worst with a bloody bonce.
He and McGeehan, 30, received both treatment from Medici when the game came to a halt.
But a furious push competition followed when the rivals came close.
Hills and McGeehan were quickly separated to prevent the scrap from becoming a total fight.
And fans didn't waste the time they responded to the battle on social media.
One said, “Blood in the most irrelevant friendly in history.”
Another stated, “Who said the preseason would not matter?”
It was noted: “The second half descended in sparring.”
Another added: “Certainly unfriendly in Colney.”
Hills will hope that his behavior has no influence on his hope to become a first team player in Norwich.
After coming to the academy, the AAS hopes to add to his five performances after loans in Accrington Stanley and Stockport County.
As far as McGeehan is concerned, he is going in his second season with Northampton after spells in Luton, Barnsley and Colchester United.
He also came through the ranks in Norwich, but did not succeed in making a senior performance for them before he left in 2015.
McGeehan met TV star partner Tiffany during the Covid Lockdown, where the couple is involved in 2021 and married a year later.
They share two children together in Jude, 2, and Heath, who was born last month.
Tiffany horrified fans before the birth of Heath when she unveiled a list of potential baby names.
