Odegaard and Arsenal stars now tempting options for Gameweek 27 after mauling

Arsenal made an emphatic statement against PSV on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners have one foot firm in the quarterfinals of the Champions League who have beaten their Dutch opponents 7-1 in the first stage of their round of 16 draw.

Injuries to various important attackers have reduced the firepower of Arsenal in recent trips, but the absence of Bukayo Saka (£ 6.6 million), Kai Havertz (£ 4.7 million), Gabriel Jesus (£ 3.7 million) and Gabriel Martinelli (£ 4.1m) she did not bother at all.

This emphatic version can be a game changer in the world of the dream team.

Suddenly several favorites of Mikel Arteta seem to be strong options for Gameweek 27.

Arsenal is one of only six teams with two games to fulfill this coming game week and the gloomy form of PSV makes their double header a favorable one.

The Noord-Londoners will travel to Old Trafford this weekend to get the 14th placed Manchester United before he welcomes the Eredivisie side with the Emirates the following Wednesday.

With such a comfortable total lead, there is a chance that Arteta will rotate his team against PSV to a certain extent, but the club's injury list means that his options are limited in that respect.

Ethan Nwaneri (£ 2.2 million) scored one goal and assisted another on Tuesday evening for a 13-point return to remind Dream Team managers of his attributes.

The 17-year-old on average a target involvement every 102 minutes this season and the right wing belongs to him while Saka is sidelined-the winger of England is only back in April.

Mikel Merino (£ 3.6 million) also received 13 points through a goal and an assist.

The Spain International is categorized as a midfielder in Dream Team, but has been deployed as an improvised striker in recent weeks.

He has not always looked effectively in the role, but it is just true that he scored three goals in 278 minutes since he came from the bank against Leicester in Gameweek 24.

Jurrien Timber (£ 4.3 million), Riccardo Calafiori (£ 3 million) and Leandro Trossard (£ 4.1 million) also benefited from PSV's Shamolic defense, but the big winner in the night was Martin Odegaard (£ 4.8 million).

The Captain of Arsenal scored two own goals before he set up the seventh on his side for a huge 21 -point trek – his best performance of the campaign so far.

The Norwegian playmaker has not provided as much goal as last season, but he proved that he was able to take advantage of out-of-form opposition in fine style.

And with Man United and PSV To get to Gameweek 27, Dream Team bosses must at least consider Odegaard as the viable transfer options before the Deadline of Saturday 11 am.

Defensive assets David Raya (£ 4.7 million), William Saliba (£ 4.6 million) and Gabriel (£ 4.9 million) are the most popular in the team – all belong to the six most selected players in their respective positions – and they remain strong options despite the fact that they do not keep a clean slab in Eindhoven.
