MARTIN ODEGAARD has welcomed a baby boy with wife Helene Spilling.
The Arsenal midfielder announced in August that he was expecting his first child with the professional ballroom dancer.
And Helene shared a photo of the couple holding the toddler's hand on social media.
The 28-year-old added the words: “We love you so much, our little baby boy.”
It is understood the birth took place last Sunday, after Arsenal's 5-2 win over West Ham.
A source said: “Martin and Helene have welcomed a baby boy.
“They are both absolutely delighted and Martin couldn't be more proud.”
Odegaard, 25, and Helene, 27, didn't make their relationship public until the summer of 2023.
She was seen on the field hugging Odegaard after the end of the 2022-2023 season.
The couple reportedly got married in secret last month.
According to Norwegian outlet Verdens Gang, the Arsenal star has changed his status to married on the national register.
Helene also updated her name with Odegaard's last name.
She previously starred in Skal vi Danse, the Norwegian version of Strictly Come Dancing.
She won the competition in 2021 and has won 17 gold medals at the Norwegian National Championships as a professional ballroom dancer.
Odegaard was in the squad for the Gunners' 2-0 win over Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Arsenal are now seven points off the top of the table, while Liverpool lose points after the 3-3 draw with Newcastle.
Odegaard is expected to start for Arsenal when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday at 2pm.
He was out of action for two months due to an ankle injury, but is now back in shape.
Odegaard said: “I feel good, I think it gets better every match.
“Being out for eight to nine weeks, it will take some time to get that rhythm back and get full match fitness, but I felt pretty good.
I think I did a good job being out there and working hard, so I feel good now.
“It was the longest I've been away. I can't remember anything else I've had in so long, so it was something new for me.
“I'm not used to watching the games from the stands and not training with the team, so it was tough, but all you can do is work hard every day to make sure you get stronger and stronger as soon as possible come back better.
“It was an opportunity to work on other things, be in the gym a little more and work on other parts of the body.
“Watching the team from the stands is also something different, but I think you can learn a lot from that and that is what I did.”
