On July 10, Fiorentina officially announced the signing of Edin Džeko. The Bosnian striker has signed a one -year contract with La Viola.

The Bosnian International, born on March 17, 1986 in Sarajevo, signed a one -year deal with the club, valid until 30 June 2026. The contract contains an option to automatically expand until June 30, 2027, if certain conditions are met.
Last season the striker played 53 games for Fenerbahçe, scored 21 goals and offered 7 assists.
Džeko has previously represented clubs such as Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma and Inter Milan, with 369 goals and 153 assists in his professional career.
