The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract on Elland Road and is now the sixth summer addition to Daniel Farke, because the preparations continue for a return to the Premier League.
Stach brings experience and further quality to the midfield areas after playing in the Bundesliga during the past five years. His time at the highest level in Germany was spent with Mainz 05 and TSG Hoffenheim and he previously won promotion of 2. Bundesliga with Greuther Furth.
Standard at 6ft 4 'in height, our newest addition has made more than 250 career appearances in all competitions and brings further versatility for the team, after he has operated on both in midfield and in defense if necessary.
With two senior caps for his nation Germany to his name, Stach's international experience saw him play earlier alongside fellow-summer arrival Lukas Nmecha in the UEFA European Under-210 Championship Final in 2021 and won 1-0 against Portugal to lift the trophy!
An impressive presence in both boxes and in the middle of the field, he brings a goal threat after 26 times in his career to date.
Last season, Stach played six games in the 2024/25 Europa League campaign for Hoffenheim and he scored against the final champions Tottenham Hotspur, who promoted his capacities at the highest level of the game.
Everyone at the club welcomes Anton in Elland Road and we look forward to seeing him in action for the whites.
