Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Stade Rennais FC for the signing of Baptiste Santamaría for the next two seasons, until June 2027.
The 30-year-old football player (09/03/1995) arrives to strengthen midfield, where he stands out for his defensive characteristics, who is a player who is able to offer balance, ball repair, tactical order, a high physical rhythm and participate in the distribution of the game.
Born in Saint-Doulchard (France), the new CF player of Valencia started his professional career at Tours FC in the French Second Division and since his jump in 2016 to Angers SCO, where he played four seasons, he settled as one of the most striking midfielders in his country.
Santamaría then made the leap to the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg before returning to France in 2021 to play for Stade Rennais FC, a team in which he played 127 official games, and in the second half of last season, his most recent phase, he played on loan at OGC Nice.
From this Thursday on, Baptiste Santamaría will join the work as a new CF player from Valencia and will soon be presented to the media.
