OFFICIAL: Bayern starlet Arijon Ibrahimović joins Lazio on loan

Lazio have officially announced the arrival of Bayern youngster Arijon Ibrahimović.

SS Lazio announces that they have temporarily acquired the right to the sports performance of player Arijon Ibrahimović from FC Bayern Munich with an option to buy him back and a counter-buy.

The German, born in 2005, will wear jersey number 27.

FC Bayern have loaned 19-year-old forward Arijon Ibrahimović to Italian club Lazio for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. Ibrahimović has been on the books of Bayern since 2018 and signed a contract extension until 2027 in July.

Christoph Freund, sporting director of FC Bayern: “Arijon is a young player with great prospects who is constantly developing. He was able to gain valuable experience in Serie A last season and is now expected to take the next steps at Lazio. Arijon has been playing for Bayern from a young age. We want to promote players like him. He gives his best in every training and now needs regular playing time at top level. We will follow him closely, because he has everything you need.”

At Bayern since 13

Ibrahimović came to Bayern from Nuremberg at the age of 13. He played a total of 48 games for the U17 and U19 side and scored 25 goals. This season, the forward has scored two goals in four games for FC Bayern's reserves in the fourth Regionalliga, while also featuring in the first team in the 5-1 Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Bundesliga encounter with Heidenheim and in the DFB Cup victory in Mainz.

Ibrahimović has previous experience at Italy's top level during his season-long loan spell at Frosinone, scoring one goal in 16 games in the 2023/24 season.
