Everton is pleased to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Mark Travers, who has set a pen for a four -year deal until the end of June 2029. The transfer costs were not announced.
The 26-year-old Republic of Ireland International arrives in Goodison Park from Bournemouth, where he spent nine years since 2016. Travers published 82 performances for Bournemouth during his term of office, with loan spells in Swindon Town, Stoke City and Middlesbrough. He appeared as the first-choice goalkeeper of Middlesbrough in the second half of the 2024/25 season and made 20 championships.
At the international level, the resident of Maynooth, County Kildare, earned his first Republic of Ireland Cap in September 2019 and has since made 4 senior performances.
After completing his move, Travers told Everton TV: “I am extremely proud and excited to be an Everton player. From the moment I arrived, you can feel the size of this club and his rich history. The fans, the new stadium and the direction in which the club is going to be all incredibly impressive.
