The German Football League (DFL) has officially announced that the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga introduce an extra transfer window from June 1 to June 10 to accommodate the Club World Cup.
The DFL has confirmed that an additional transfer window will be in Germany from 1 June to 10 June 2025 in Germany.
To allow clubs an extra registration period for the World Cup Club, Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga teams will be allowed to complete transfers between 1 and 10 June, from 8:00 am to 20:00 Central Summer Time.
In addition, from the 2025/26 season, the main resource star closes at 8 p.m. instead of the previous 6 p.m.
These decisions are subject to approval by the German Football League meeting.
