Chelsea has confirmed the signing of Dario Essugo for a long -term deal.
The 20-year-old has signed from Sporting CP for a reported fee of £ 18.5 million, so that pen is put on paper about an eight-year-old deal that holds him at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
Essugo came through the Academy of Sporting and made club history as the youngest player who appeared for the club in March 2021, making his senior debut in 16 years and six days.
He then broke the record of Luis Figo as the youngest starter for Sporting later that year and went 12 performances for the first team.

The midfielder spent on loan last season in Las Palmas, played 27 LaLiga games for the club, scored once and created 13 chances for the team.
Essugo is the first signing of Chelsea of the transfer window, with reports that suggest that Liam Delap also closes a switch to the blues.
The young person could make his debut for Chelsea at the Club World Cup, which they will start against Club Leon on 16 June.
