Liverpool FC has reached an agreement for the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Hugo Ekitike, subject to international approval.
The 23-year-old has successfully completed a medical and agreed personal conditions with the Reds, so that he can fly to Hong Kong to join his new teammates later this week during their tour for the season through Asia.
Ekitike arrives in Liverpool after a season and a half in Germany, after initially to Eintracht on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The attacker yielded 26 goals in 64 performances for Frankfurt and was mentioned in the Bundesliga team of the season before 2024-25.
Earlier, the France was U21 International, who started his professional journey at Stade de Reims, 33 times before PSG pale and claimed the medal of a Ligue 1 winner.
This summer, Ekitike will be the newest addition to the team of Arne Slot, such as Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mhamardashvili and Florian Wirtz.
