Espanyol has received an official notification from Laliga that confirms the payment of the release clause by Joan García.
Rastar Group (majority owner of RCD Espanyol) obliges to make the information publicly known for the status of the stock market, described the operation in a statement.
According to Rastar, Liga informed them on 14 June that the € 25 million clause was paid together with the annual CPI adjustment. They added that the transfer will contribute to net profit after taxes at least € 18.75 million.
The next step is that Laliga validates the payment conditions and approves the registration, so that FC Barcelona Joan García can officially add to the team.
